STEP 1

SoilOptix® uses a non-contact, pre-calibrated sensor, mounted on a collection vehicle two feet off the ground to measure Caesium-137, Uranium-238, Thorium-232, and Potassium-40. Our non-contact sensor can work in a variety of weather conditions, and its accuracy is not affected by the presence of crop residue. The SoilOptix® sensor delivers 335 data points per acre, allowing you to see your fields in high definition.

Become a Service Providing Partner

SoilOptix® is looking for agronomists and retailers who are interested in offering this service to their clients. We offer a customizable subscription plan which includes the SoilOptix® sensor, a field computer, an RTK GPS, data processing, and full customer and tech support. We handle and return your high-definition data to you within a target of 48 hours of receiving soil sample lab results. Our processed files are compatible with most VRA building platforms. You are then equipped to make the best possible soil management and crop input decisions for your growers. For more information, contact us.

Traditional sampling methods have voids; not enough information in zones, and missing data between grid points. SoilOptix® has filled that gap for us and our growers.  We can now define where the specific issues are in a field, being a nutrient or soil property and can now create a plan to address those issues. And it’s the only system that gives us a full texture profile across a field. We know sand, silt and clay are different but could not measure them to this detail before. Now we can use this in our Variable Rate program to fine tune where we put our fertilizer applications with more precision. Why sample the average when we can sample the variability?
