SoilOptix® had the pleasure of exhibiting at the 14th annual International Conference of Precision Agriculture (ICPA), hosted by McGill University and the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA) on June 27th-29th, 2018 in Montreal, Quebec. The conference had an amazing turn out with more than 470 attendees, which was the largest ICPA since 2008! We had the opportunity to speak to registrants from over 45 countries, making it one of the most global conferences of the series.
We want to thank the ISPA and its’ organizers for such a successful, educational conference, and we also want to thank all the attendees for coming and visiting our booth and asking their questions. We are grateful for the opportunity to educate the industry about our technology, and for the opportunity to attend the conference sessions where we learned just as much.
Our own Zach Harmer made us very proud with his presentation, “Merits and Building High Resolution Models Using Gamma Radiation” during the Industry session on Monday afternoon. Great job Zach!
The conference was wrapped up on Wednesday with a Technical Tour and Field Demo that SoilOptix® was asked to participate in. We were invited to McGill University’s McDonald Campus to get our hands dirty and show attendees how our system operates.
We want to extend another huge thank you to Dr. Viacheslav Adamchuk for inviting us to attend the Field Demo, and for his part in orchestrating a phenomenal conference that was enjoyed by all.
See you next year ICPA!
